Progressive Kids  Daily After School Club

Progressive Kids is a  successful provider of breakfast and after school clubs across many schools in BANES, including our afterschool provisions here at Pensford Primary. We are taking advantage of a government grant that is currently available to make this possible. book online here.

Progressive Kids offer 3 different pickup times: 4:20pm 4:45pm and 6:00pm.  We are delighted that this gives parents much more flexibility. There is no cut off time for booking wraparound care as their registers update automatically, however we do encourage early bookings. For child safeguarding reasons we request that you contact the school if you are making an after school booking for that same day so that a message can be passed on to the class teacher. You can book odd days, weeks or for a full term.  

Parents can of course pick their child up before the booked finish time, but if children are picked up after that then they will move into the next charging period. Bookings are made directly with Progressive Kids via their website or app.

There is a wide range of activities the children can choose from.

For safeguarding purposes, you must book and pay before your child(ren) attend the first session.

VERY IMPORTANT – Parents and Carers must inform the organisers if their child has any allergies or other health issues. Please also update your contact details with the organiser, when necessary.

ADDITIONAL CLUB OPTIONS

The following clubs also take place after school until 4:30

MONDAY- GARDENING CLUB- £7 per session, price includes materials.

This club is not running currently but is due to start again in the Spring.

Gardening club is open to all years, there are limited number of spaces and priority will be given to children in KS2. We help to harvest our fruit and veg, among lots of other gardening activities!  Please contact Emily Carboni directly for any enquiries and to book and arrange payment.

TUESDAY- SWIFT SPORTS FOOTBALL CLUB - £5.25 a session

Swift Sports Coaching will be running an exciting club, which will operate on a termly basis, and will run straight after school for 1 hour. Children will need to bring spare indoor/outdoor clothing, appropriate footwear and a water bottle to the clubs.

Open to all children in Reception Yrs 1,2,3&4 from 3:30pm-4:30pm Football club will consist of ball mastery skills, drills and exercises focusing on all aspects of football leading to game based scenarios including, technique, tactics/strategy, positional play, defending/attacking, passing/dribbling/shooting and working as part of a team.   Football Club 7 sessions @ £5.25 Total cost £36.75

THURSDAY- CLAY CLUB- £8 per session, price includes materials.                Sessions must be booked for a full term.

Clay club is open to all years, there are limited number of spaces and priority will be given to children in KS2. Please contact Jonquil directly for any enquiries and to book.  Spaces will be allocated 1 week before the start of the club, and are not guaranteed to the same children every term
