Our Lockdown Activities

We wanted to share with you just a few of the positive things we are doing during the 2021 lockdown, as well as our remote learning.

We're not bored!

Firstly, we asked children to send us in photos of anything they were doing to prove they were not bored at home!  The only rule was that you couldn't include anything involving a screen.  As well as the ones below, ou can find lots more lovely photos and information about this here.

Pensford Gets Active

We also had a 'Pensford Gets Active' challenge.  Children asked extended family members and friends from beyond the school community to sponsor them to challenge themselves by getting even more active than normal.  With their families, our children set themselves time or distance challenges for this.  We were inspired by Mrs Rawlinson, who set herself the goal of running the equivalent of 4 marathons in 4 weeks!
