Appearance and Belongings

  • Jewellery is not allowed as it can present a danger if worn in school. However, if you child has pierced ears they can wear one pair of small stud earrings only. These must be removed or taped over for PE, and need to be removed for swimming.
  • Watches may be worn but they should also be removed for PE.
  • Nail varnish and make up are not to be worn in school.
  • Long hair must always be tied back in the interests of safety, health and focus on written and practical work.

There is no insurance cover against theft or damage ot personal possessions and therefore the risk is responsibility of the parent.
