Originally from Sheffield, Emily moved to Bristol to study Music and French at the University of Bristol, from which she graduated in 2011 with honours. Emily subsequently studied law at the University of Law and qualified as a Banking and Finance solicitor in 2016. Emily is an associate in the Banking and Finance team at TLT LLP and specialises in the financing of Clean Energy projects across the UK. Emily has no business interests that could influence her decisions regarding the school. |

Jason has been in financial services for 30 years, the first 10 in banking and latterly in financial advice. A fully qualified financial & mortgage advisor who practiced for 12 years before moving into leading & developing both advisors and businesses.
Jason works for a FTSE100 wealth management company and deals with all aspects of delivery to financial advice firms including, advisor development, business strategy, marketing and quality servicing of their clients.
He has experience in working in a school environment initially as a Young Enterprise Advisor working with 6th form students, helping them set up & run a business and more recently delivering financial education.

Headteacher Warrick has been the Headteacher at Pensford since 2016. He has worked in Education for over 25 years in schools in London and in the Bristol area. This has included senior leadership roles in 3 other schools at Deputy Head and Headteacher level. |
Sam Miller |

Teaching and Support Staff Governor Sam has been teaching for ten years and has taught in Cornwall and South Bristol covering every year of Key Stage 2. He joined Pensford School in 2016 as KS2 leader and became the staff governor during that academic year. He was appointed Acting Headteacher from January 2020 until January 2021. Sam has no personal connections with any governors or school staff and no business interests that could influence any decisions made by the GB. |

Parent Governor Jo is a Disability Advice Team Manager at the University of the West of England. Her role is primarily to lead a team in providing advice, support and information to disabled students, and advising academic staff on inclusive and accessible curricula, pedagogy and assessment. Jo has a qualification in Adult Dyslexia Diagnosis and Support, and has previously worked as a teacher of English as a foreign language to children and adults overseas. She has also worked in further education, teaching young people with learning disabilities. Jo has no business interests that could influence her decisions regarding the school. |

Jess is currently studying for a MSc in Social Work at the University of Bristol and is on track to qualify in 2021. Prior to this, from 2016-2019, Jess owned the local Miners’ Coffee Shop in Pensford which was a wonderful way to be a part of the local community. The coffee shop raised money for various local projects including for the building of the current Pensford Primary School Library. Additionally, Jess has a degree in Psychology and many years experience of working with children with learning disabilities.

Ruth moved from London to Pensford in 2022 and is currently a full-time mum. Ruth holds a BA in Art History and Anthropology (SOAS, London), and an MA in East Asian Art (Sothebys Institute, London). After managing international art galleries in London for several years, from 2018-2021 Ruth co-owned and managed "Cakes and Ladders", a board game cafe on a double decker bus in North London. With a focus on social enterprise and community engagement, Ruth ran regular board game wellbeing sessions for adults and children alongside the business.

Helen works for Action for Children as a Service Co-Ordinator for Children's Centre Services in Bath. This role focuses on Early Years and family support. Her background and training is in counselling and mental health support. Helen has lived and brought up a family in Pensford for over 20yrs.

Born and educated in Poland with a Masters Degree in Slavonic Languages from the University of Gdansk, Monika has lived in London and Dublin, where she started studying for her accountancy qualifications and worked as a Finance Analyst for a global communications company.
After a year and a half of travelling around the world, she moved to Bristol and shortly afterwards to Pensford, where she has lived with her family for over 8 years.
Now she works as a Finance Business Partner for a global stock transfer and employee share plans company. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor adventures, travelling, baking and gardening.
